The winery Cantine Ercolani was founded in 1988 in Montepulciano, in the heart of a sweet Tuscany where, already in the 40s, great-grandfather Ercolani showed love and skills in the wine cellar.
The passion for the territory and its produce was passed down to his sons by grandfather Sergio in the 60s and that laid the foundations of today's business.
Porta di Bacco opens, the first place modernly designed around the sale of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, vinsanto, olive oil and typical cured meats, strictly on yellow paper. Over time the company grows, buys new land, expands the own views and reinforce the staff; the commitment to authenticity remains constant, the wholesomeness of the ingredients, the cultivation, processing and traditional cuisine.
To date Ercolani winery counts on a solid organization.
Experienced staff deals with the processing of about 150 hectares of land, crops, truffle reservations, vineyards, olive groves, sheep farms and direct sales.
